MPOX Outbreak among people living with and without HIV in Argentina

In this study, representative of the Mpox
outbreak in Argentina, no additional cases occurred after
February 2023 despite absence of vaccination campaigns.
HIV-infected MSM with good immune-virologic profile
were mainly affected. No major differences were
observed between people living with and without HIV
regarding complications and hospitalization with an
overall low mortality
